Whitby, ON, November 10, 2022: To stand out in an increasingly competitive marketplace, earlier this year Mitchell & Whale Insurance Brokers rebranded itself as Mitch Insurance and introduced its lovable insurance value proposition.
Mitch Insurance is proud to share that it has won three MarCom Awards for key marketing initiatives tied to its rebrand.
Founded in 2004, the MarCom Awards is a global competition celebrating excellence in marketing and communications. One of the largest creative competitions in the world, this year’s MarCom Awards saw more than 6,000 entries being submitted from 45 countries, all of which were judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
Mitch Insurance earned a platinum award in recognition of its “Introducing lovable insurance” video that helped launch its new brand and value proposition. The brokerage also received a pair of gold awards for its mitchinsurance.com website redesign and its strategic public relations and communications plan around the rebrand.

The company’s rebrand was the next major step in the foundational work being completed as Mitch Insurance modernizes and scales all aspects of its operations. As part of its multi-year transformation strategy, the Whitby, Ontario-based brokerage will soon be looking to grow its presence in other provinces, beginning with Alberta in the coming months.
