Recently changed M&W insurance brokers from TD. Found some pretty interesting things about my old insurance policy and how it was structured. My husband and I were delighted to work with Jeff Logan and Kristen Barnes. We are real estate investors and was finding it difficult to obtain home insurance from our usual insurers based on the unusual requirements required from our Mortgagers on our latest purchase. Saved a bunch! I had heard good things about Mitchell & Whale, and specifically Jeff Logan, from my other family members who went to him when they were looking to switch car and motorcycle insurance. They all had wonderful experiences and saved a bunch on their insurance. Having just moved and seen a massive jump in my previous plan's premiums, I decided to try out Mitchell & Whale, too. I contacted Jeff and he was really helpful; answering all my questions and getting me quotes within a single phone call. The quotes he found saved me about $1000 a year on my car insurance, and another couple hundred by combining my partner and I on one tenant's insurance plan instead of the separate ones we'd had previously. Jeff was very responsive for any questions I had. It was a non-standard insurance issue, but he helped me sort through all of it. Jeff was amazing. Quick response to my inquiry and set up new insurance policies in a matter of minutes. Easiest insurance broker I have ever dealt with. Gave me a lot of information on my options, extremely friendly and understanding. He made me think when he said “Here we work with you and have your best interests in mind we don’t work against you” this statement proved true as I had some horrible issues with my last broker and insurance company.
